The Race Is On!

The long-awaited start of the Quest!

At 11:00 am Saturday morning, 28 world-class dog teams shot out of the chute at 3-minute intervals, with Brent leaving 3^rd. Every team exuded power as they exploded past crowds of spectators and photographers. Hours later, we flew over all of the teams on the trail. Brent was resting his dogs, while other teams rested nearby. Teams are expected into Braeburn tonight.

Thanks for the update Ken and Greg. It was great to see all the photo's. Please let us know which dog Brent dropped at Braeburn, and future drops. I'm getting really excited to get up to Circle to get that checkpoint ready for all the mushers and hopefully a few fans.
